Vet Cost for Sarg's Surgery

My Sarg... my best friend...my Life!
Sarge will celebrate his 3rd birthday November 1st. He was a gift to me from family to get me out of the house and their fear of depression. Since day 1 Sarg has given me more than I can ever repay him for. He is everything to me.
Sarg has begun struggling to get air into his airways due to his breed. He needs to have surgery to survive. Lately, on some walks he would just suddenly lay flat out. I feel like such a jerk! According to a vet I spoke with he was passing out. I thought he was just resting!
The condition he has is called Brachycephalic Airway Syndrome (BAS). Sarg need to have soft palate resection and stenotic nares augmentation. I was told that without this he will die of asphyxiation or heart attack.
The estimated cost is 3000 without complications. Noone in my area does it so i have to take him 2.5 hrs away. I am hoping I can locate a vet that does the laser surgery to reduce bleeding and increase healing.
