Vet Bill Fundraiser

We are trying to get caught up on our vet bills. We are carrying A balance  of 965.00 at our vet, White Rose Vet Clinic in York. We also need an additional amount of 2600.00 to provide dental treatments, spay neuter, vaccinations, special needs treatments, heartworm and flea preventative for the dogs we have now. This doesn't include unexpected vet bills that may arise and new dogs that we will be getting in the future. Adoptions have been very slow and our normal adoption fees cover most of these expenses. Recently we have been spending our own family's savings account money to take care of the dogs. Our goal is to get ahead and have all of our dogs ready to go to their new homes. The benefit to getting ahead on our vet expense is that we will be able to place all of the funds from our adoption fees back into finishing our kennel project that has been on hold due to us not having the funds available to do so. We started building our new kennel in May of 2012 and we misjudged how much money it would cost to have it completed and there are many things that are left unfinished. We have also had most of our flooring ruined when the roof got damaged in the storm in June. This is going to cost us about 600.00 to replace. We need to have the existing project completed before the winter months. In addition to completing our existing project we will be able to add more kennel rooms and kennel runs onto our kennel. We currently have 16 Dachshunds waiting to come into our care and we cannot take anymore at this time until we either have more space or some dogs are adopted.
