Vermelle Easley's Journey To A Kidney

Dear Friends & Family:

I have been undergoing severe health issues for quite some time now. Throughout the years I have been able to stay positive and upbeat during most of my health issues. My trust in the Lord continued when I got diabetes in 1996. I did not worry when my lung clasped in 2003. I must say my faith is truly being tested since my kidneys start to fail in 2009. Although, I am still blessed because I am able to do dialysis 3 times a week; however, the side effects can be very debilitating. That is why I am so excited to share that my sister Jackie has agreed to donate her Kidney which brings tears to my heart to think of a person that is so selfless. I was scheduled to for the Kidney Transplant for March 26, 2013. Unfortunately, I have not been able to undergo the procedure due to excessive fluid in my abdomen area. I know the Lord has not taken me this far to leave me. My medical team of Doctors is searching for a solution to resolve this issue through extensive testing. Meanwhile, I am unable to work, my medical bills and living expenses have become too much for me to bear. Therefore, I am asking my friends, family, and loved ones to help me stay in the fight against Kidney Disease by donating today.
