Help me not become homeless

Hi.
So, I finished work, mid-november: A 6 term contract.
however. Due to ill health - I messed up my back and it triggered my sleep disorder, which is always the bane of my life - I was signed off work for the last 7 weeks of that contract.
Meaning when the contract ended, the cash I should have built up to tide me over to the next one? Was not there.
Which is a problem. Becausefor arcane bureacratic reasons, despite the fact my rent is £395/month, The council will only pay £276.
Meaning i'm short nearly £120/month, and have to rob what I can of my food budget to try cover it (which is not all that practical: It's pretty bare bones as is: it's robbing peter to pay paul.)
And as of right now (8/5/18), I owe my landlord £975, and they are talking about eviction.
Please help?
Since I came here, I have been trapped in a continual cycle of getting knocked down every time I try to stand up: I need to be able to take a breath and get out of this hell.
Though if I gt the job I applied for (Should know soon) I'll be out of this morass when it starts in /September/.
My thanks in advance.
