UNHCR has warned that Europe is on the cusp of a largely self-induced humanitarian crisis.
I do not believe we are on the cusp, I believe we are already in a humanitarian crisis.

As if it wasn’t enough that babies washed up on European shores forced to flee war stricken countries we have now left people stranded in Greece, sleeping in squalid, unsanitary and unsafe conditions in passenger waiting areas, tents outdoors, old warehouses and even under trucks.

'Don’t you get it no one puts their child on a boat unless the sea is safer than their land.'

Governments not working together and countries imposing new border restrictions and world leaders frankly not caring is causing unnecessary suffering, death and a violation of their human rights.    

If something is not OK for you and your child then it is not OK for anyone else or their child. Please for a moment consider how we are the lucky ones and if there was a twist in fate it could have been us. We could be REFUGEES.

The situation is ever changing but until the government can find a global solution these people, our brothers and sister need a lifeline. The aid will never be enough but until they are liberated from suffering WE as volunteers have to provide people with much needed food, medical aid, vital shelter and sanitation supplies.

I have seen the devastation these people live in and this time Greece: Athens, Port of Piraeus, Idomeni, Filipiada NEED US.

Help me to provide some comfort, warmth, happiness and restore a little bit of their dignity.

I have only a few weeks to raise vital funds and I will be buying aid local to the camps.

This means so much to me because I believe NOBODY SHOULD HAVE TO GO WITHOUT.
