Orphan Umayma Rafeik's Wedding Day

I've had the pleasure of knowing Umayma Rafeik, 30 years old, who cooks food for an all boys orphanage in Lucknow,India for the last 12 years.
Orphaned herself at the age of 2 years old, along with a newborn sister,Umayma faced hardships many of us cannot phathom. As a young girl she struggled until she grew old enough to work. As a teacher in an elementry school, she worked hard to provide for herself, her sister and her mentally challenged uncle. When her school started a new policy to not accept the head scarf, hijab, she left her job and began teaching Quran and tutoring from home.
Recently engaged, Umayma will be getting married on September 21, 2016. A dream most orphan girls never see come true. On that day, my wish is for her to eat good food, wear new clothes and have some money to prepare for her new home. I have had the positive experience of dealing with her on several occasions when donating to the boys' orphanage in which she cooks the meals to help them out. She is consistently in the service of her community and despite many difficult trials in her own life, she remains positive, encouraging and supportive of those less fortunate than her. Never asking for anything in return for herself. I ask you to help make this new chapter in Umayma's life better than the past.
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate.
