We are 12 year old twin sisters who are in 7th grade at Lanai High and Elementary school. We will be applying to the United States Naval Academy STEM summer camp 2013. In order for us to get there, we are traveling from Lanai City, Hawaii which is 4,830 miles to Annapolis, Maryland. Our goal is to attend the United States Naval Academy after graduation.

About Us:

We were born on the island of Lana'i, December 15, 2000. We are the only babies born on Lanai in 2000 and the last twins born on island in 75 years. Most women are required to go to another island to give birth, but we came early and our mom gave birth to twins. On the day of our birth, our mom was not able to fly out and this is where our life began. We have attended Lanai Elementary School since kindergarten. This year, we are in honors math. Also, we are in our second year of band. One of us plays the saxophone and the other plays the flute. Our father and our grandfathers both served in the military (Air Force and Navy).

Our parents discovered this program two years ago and we have been preparing for it ever since. In our preparation for this, we have been accepted and been a part of the following programs:

The application process will open in February of 2013. We will be informed in April if we have been accepted. If we are not accepted all donations will be returned.
