UM Dance Team, Road to Reno

Dear community businesses, family and friends,
As members of the University of Montana Dance Team we extend a heartfelt thank you for the support you’ve shown us this season, recognizing our role in cheering on the Griz at Grizzly Athletics events. We recognize that your time is valuable and deeply appreciate you taking a moment to give this letter your full attention.
The 2017-18 UM Dance Team is represented by 15 talented young women whose dance abilities are showcased at both community events and Grizzly Athletics sporting events throughout the year. We enjoy helping create an uplifting atmosphere at all Griz football games and leading the crowd at Griz and Lady Griz Basketball games. We strive to put forth our best effort on and off the field; focusing on our education, while also practicing several days per week, putting in extra time in the Champions Center weight room and participating in community appearances. We cherish the opportunity we have to support Grizzly Athletics!
This is an exciting time for our basketball teams and Grizzly Athletics. We would love nothing more than to represent the University of Montana at the Big Sky Conference Basketball Tournament in Reno, Nevada in March. Both the Griz and Lady Griz Basketball teams are sitting atop the Big Sky Conference half way through conference play.
Unlike past years, Reno is an unbudgeted expense for the Dance Team. We are reaching out to you in an effort to raise the funds needed to get the Dance Team to Reno so we can do our part in supporting our teams in their quest to make it to the Big Dance! Our goal is to raise $6,000.
