Urban Health Group LLC is participating in the 2018 Oakland Running Festival on March 25, 2018
Join Team Urban Health Group LLC (UHG) and run for community wellness! No experience or training needed for the 5k event, just motivation to push the mile for wellness. This past year, 2017, was our inaugural run with 30 runners and 10 volunteers helped raise $2,000 for UHG's community engagement initiatives.
Our goal for 2018 is to register 100 runners and raise $10,000 for Community Wellness.
Fundraising initiative supports programming and services for free to low income communities, internships and Youth Outreach Program educating children and youth how to prepare for emergencies.
March 24, 2018 - We need volunteers to help staff expo day for the Oakland Running Festival-- Many Shifts are Available -- The running festival runs on volunteers - if you have time on Saturday, please help us fill our volunteer commitment. Link will be provided.
March 25, 2018 - 5k, half marathon and full marathon. Runners will each receive Urban Health Group LLC / Oakland Running Festival T-shirts, and some extra goodies in their bag as well as a shirt from the running festival.
