Recently our son, Tyler, received an invitation to attend The Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Boston, MA. It is quite an honor since only 2,000 students nationwide get offers to this congress. It would be very beneficial to him since he plans on attending medical school to study Sports Medicine. All while playing sports year round, Tyler currently holds a 3.5 GPA while taking Honors classes. We couldn't be more proud of Tyler and his accomplishments. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for him and we are enlisting the help of our family and friends to help get him there! Attached is the email from the Congress:
Hi Amber,
First, congratulations on your son's nomination! The Congress of Future Medical Leaders will be an amazing gathering of honor students, all of whom want to go into medical careers as physicians or medical scientists. He'll be part of three life-changing days; he'll hear Nobel Laureates talk about leading medical research, top medical school deans will inspire him, and he will learn about cutting edge advances in medicine and medical technology. Above all else, his academic record has earned him a nomination and a seat at the Congress. You should be proud of that!
At the Congress of Future Medical Leaders, students will make long-term friendships with those who share their dreams and passion – other young people who want to make a difference in the world and devote their future to saving lives. AND they will feel the transformative energy of being surrounded by thousands of young stars just like them: America’s best and brightest - the future of medicine. The Congress is designed to motivate and inspire students to work even harder and with greater focus and dedication.
The Congress will also be a learning experience where students will discover cutting edge medicine and research, observe surgery, gain a wealth of knowledge from patients of groundbreaking medical techniques and be shown a path high-achieving peers have been blazing. There is so much educational content in the Congress that students can earn college credit.
Thank you to all who want to take part in Tyler's amazing journey!!
