Trevor Cates Memorial Fund

Family and friends,

As many of you now know, this week and always, we mourn the loss of our good friend, Trevor Cates. As you could imagine, his unexpected passing left many more questions than answers, and Megan and family are struggling to put together a picture of what a future looks like without Trevor by their side. I think it goes without saying that many of those questions are financial.

With this in mind, my pal Brian Ewing and I have asked Megan if it was OK to "crowd-fund" some help, as organizations like GoFundMe just make the process simpler and more accessible. She indicated that she would appreciate the help, and maybe it will be "one less thing" they have to worry about.

One thing is for certain, both Trevor and Megan have a TREMENDOUS amount of people that love and want the best for their family. Brian and I would like to ask this army of friends and loved ones to "show up" by donating to the family in their time of need. Any money donated will be used to deal with the miscellaneous unexpected expenses that come with something like this, and any left over will be used to help with ongoing education expenses for Trevor & Megan's girls.
