Training for Zeus~shelter dog

First of all we want to say THANK YOU to SCRAPS for their dedication to special needs animals!
A great big huge thank you to the Vogels for receiving Zeus and Emma into their home to foster!
Thank you to the many trainers for your partnership and expertise that is absolutely essential to the success and future of
Rescue Dogs in our community!!!
And now, let us introduce,
Zeus❤️ He was impounded at SCRAPS with either his mom or his sister, Emma...we are not certain of their relationship. They are a very bonded pair. Another adult male GSD came in with them at the same time.
They sat, they paced, they huddled, they cried, ...so frightened and worried.
No guardian came for them.
It’s fair to assume by their lack of socializing that the young dogs have been used exclusively for breeding.
It wasn’t long before it became evident that Emma was pregnant.
Emma had a litter of puppies shortly after arriving in foster.
The bonded pair went to the “rescue only” pod at SCRAPS as they both were so terrified. Clearly they required the help of a rescue organization where fund raising for training and careful process is taken to place them with adopters who have dog handling experience.
Emma is receiving weekly private training sessions and will participate in a board and train once her pups go home.
I know that training expense is hard for people to get their head around.
But our trainers recieve rehab dogs full time and their expertise is vital to our dogs future. Training is every bit as important as any medical need.
Please help us provide the training Zeus needs to protect his future.
He will be available for adoption once he completes training. Training begins Jan 11th so we need to raise these funds quickly!
