Hello everyone, First off let me tell everyone "Thank you" for offering to help Tracie and my Mom and Tracie's children, Olivia, Adam, and Tori in any way that you can. Now, here's an overview as to what is going on and why we need your help!
Our family has not been the same since Tracie lost her oldest son, Jordan, 6 years ago. It has been a constant struggle for many years. A few months ago, she was having pain in her left leg and over the months it progressively got worse. She has been in the hospital and unable to walk, or work in over a month now. Tracie has been diagnosed with blood clots on her Aortic lining that showered to her legs, but the worst to the left leg. She has been in severe pain and doing rehab to try to restore the circulation in her foot and lower leg, but due to lack of oxygen, she developed Gangrene in her foot and had to have her left foot and lower leg amputated yesterday. Tracie will be in rehab for the next few weeks and once she gets home, it will be approximately 6 months or longer for the healing process, and being able to adapt to a prosthetic before she will be able to work again.
My mom is only receiving a small amount monthly and taking care of the kids and trying to stay afloat with the small montly check she receives. Every penny that she receives for her social security is literally paying the rent. They need help financially taking care of the other bills for the next several months until/ if and when Tracie is approved for disability or social security(which we all know can take some time). While all of you have asked what they need help with, THIS IS IT! They are struggling severely to even put gas in the gas tank. There is no way that they can make it just on her check, so any help is greatly, greatly appreciated!
They are living in a rental townhouse in the Three Rivers School District and with rent and other necessary bills which is in excess $1400/ month, (phone, water, gas/electric and internet access to allow the kids to be able to do their homework on their chromebooks provided by school)it is hard for them to pay that . They have been able to pay the bills this month with help, but the struggle will start over at the beginning of the month. My mom has always been frugal and had too much pride, which is why I am starting this page. Please feel free to share with your friends so that they can get the help they need. They need help immediately! Thank you so much for all of your kind words and suggestions and helping with meals over the last few weeks. The thoughtfulness and more importantly, the prayers, have made a huge difference. We know that she will have a difficult time, emotionally and physically so any help is appreciated!
