Destination Imagination - Globals!

Are you ready to celebrate 8,000 of the most creative student minds in the world?

The members of the Wauwatosa East High School Improvisational Team qualified for the Global Competition and we're looking for your help!

This May 2014, students will gather in Knoxville, TN for the world's largest celebration of creativity and innovation. Global Finals is the culminating event of every Destination Imagination season. Over 1,100 teams from 45 states, 7 Canadian provinces and 13 countries gather to showcase their Challenge solutions. Over 15,000 people attend Global Finals to celebrate creativity and have fun.

Destination Imagination (DI) is a non-profit, volunteer-led, cause-driven organization whose purpose is to inspire and equip students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders. Annually, they offer seven new standards-based challenges in STEM, improv, visual arts, service learning, and early learning. Each challenge enables student teams to learn and experience the creative process from imagination to innovation.

The DI program encourages teams of learners to have fun, take risks, focus, and frame challenges. Our teams learn patience, flexibility, persistence, ethics, respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem solving process.

This is an incredible honor for our team, and a life-changing experience for each student. We have the opportunity to represent Wauwatosa, WI at an international competition and we are hoping to do it right!
