Tom's Fight Against Bladder Cancer
Donation protected
Tom Biscoglio is fighting stage 4 bladder cancer. He is a 37 year old veteran from Saugerties that served 10 years in the United States Air Force. Tom's fight began in 2014, when a tumor that was three-quarters the size of his bladder was found. That year, after getting a job as a technician at Colonial Subaru, he was out of work for 11 months undergoing surgeries and treatments. Over the course of the past 4 years, he's fought hard, determined not to let the cancer outgrow his love of life. In 2017, the cancer spread to his kidney, which was removed, followed by 27 more rounds of chemo. The end of 2017 brought more bad news. Additional masses were discovered in his prostate and bladder. This required further surgeries and more lost time from work. At a doctor's visit on 1/25/18, Tom learned the cancer had spread to his lung, liver and spleen. The prognosis is anything but favorable, yet Tom continues to fight. He's determined to beat this. To do so, he needs our help. Tom is not physically able to work.; His savings has been exhausted, and yet he still needs to pay rent, buy food and pay for basic necessities. The gas money alone needed to go back and forth to appointments and treatments is overwhelming. (We won't even get into the medical bills). This is where you and I come in. Any little bit you can donate will help. Tom's literally fighting for his life. The least we can do is ease his mind on finances for a little bit. He also appreciates prayers of strength and healing. Thank you for taking the time to learn Tom's story.
