Tobben’s AML Battle

3x’s diagnosed with AML! Tobben has been diagnosed again with AML (Acute myeloid leukemia). After receiving a bone marrow transplant in March 2015 the blast cells returned in October 2017. We were admitted to the hospital for chemo on November 18th, and giving the most intense chemo for 5 days straight. Biopsy shows the blast cells have been put back into remission!!!! Unfortunately, Tobben’s fight isn’t just with AML, he is now battling severe pneumonia and sepsis. Tobben has been on oxygen since December 6th and we were moved to Intermediate Care Unit. Those that know us, know that this is difficult for us to ask for assistance, and everything that everyone has done and will do in the future to help us in this battle again we are eternally grateful for.
