The Road to Walking the Camino

UPDATE August 3, 2013
We have returned home after completing the Camino de Santiago and it was amazing!


Our story did not play out the way we thought it would but the story that unfolded could not have been scripted any better. There was conflict, challenge, craziness, sickness, separation, sadness, joy and tears.

I am so excited to share with you the next step in my journey to walk the Camino de Santiago.

I had never heard of the Camino de Santiago until last year when Josh shared with me his desire for a father son adventure. After researching the Camino and learning it is one of the most traveled roads by pilgrims, I knew this would be something we would do together and I prayed God would provide a miraculous way for it to happen.

In 25 days, we will begin walking 490 miles across Northern Spain on our personal pilgrimage. I'm humbled by the encouragement and support I've received from my friends and family. I would not have gotten this far without all of you.
