The Relational Spaces Fundraiser
We have had a dream of creating a hub for Relational Practices for years, and January this year we finally found the perfect place. We have rented 536m2 in central Copenhagen, which we have now turned it into Denmarks first center for Relational Practices.
Unfortunately the opening of Relational Space happened just as the second wave of Covid-19 hit Denmark and everything closed down. This has put is in a sticky economic situation where we constantly feel like we are on the edge of having to close the project before it has really started.
We want your help to get a bit more economical safety for the project in the coming months. We are hoping to fundraise at least 1 month of rent through this platform, but of course more would be fantastic.
What is Relational Spaces?
Relational Spaces is an organization in service of deeper human connection. We promote practices that enable humans to relate more harmoniously; to themselves, to other people, to society, and to nature.
As society has opened up, we are now exited to invite you in for our workshops and events this autumn - check out our calender at: https://www.relationalspaces.dk/calendar/
What kind of practices do we offer?
Simple, pragmatic practices that invite people to reconnect with themselves and others. Practices that help people unlearn and let go of patterns, tensions, and ideas that don’t serve them anymore. Take a look at our website for descriptions of our practices like Circling, Relational Flow, Samtalesaloner, Kakao Ceremonies and Authentic Relating Games. On our website, you'll also find different kinds of treatments and 1:1 sessions, that we offer.
What will your donation go to?
Our Location in Ryesgade 15 used to be an office space, and we have turned it into a beautiful and intimate workshop and hangout place. We have got most furniture secondhand or free, but we have had quite a few expenses for paint, plants, lighting, and professional electricians -not to mention our monthly rent, which is 35.000 Kr. pr. month.
Who are we?
The people behind Relational Spaces come from very different backgrounds and have been drawn together by a shared interest in relational work. Many of us have been working together for years on Authentic Relating Festival, and we all share the desire to promote practices that enable human beings to relate more authentically to themselves, to others, to society, and to nature.
