The Hammock House Free Programs!

Spende geschützt
Hurricane Irma swept through the beautiful Florida Keys on Sunday September 10, 2017, and made an enormous impact on every business, every building, every home, every resident and every tree in the entire 100-mile stretch of the Keys.
We survived! We are in the process of cleaning up, repairing and rebuilding. As a result of the wide-spread devastation throughout our community, we need your help and support more than ever before.
As you know, the Florida Keys Celtic Festival is the primary source of income for The Hammock House, a free after-school and summer camp program for all children of the Keys housed on the grounds of St. Columba Episcopal Church in Marathon, Florida.   Our next biggest source of funds come from our thrift store-The Nearly New Shop which was totally destroyed when the roof caved in during the hurricane.  The thrift store was just gaining its hold as a needed resource for inexpensive high quality goods in Marathon and was on track to provide half  of the operating income for The Hammock House.
FREE after-school care and camps when the kids are out of school is huge help to so many families in our community and with so much cost to recover, this year is more important than ever! Thank you for your support!
