We Need a Prosthetic Leg!

Hi, my name is Justyana Sim, and I am trying to raise money for my friend, Terry Blazer. He is in need of a prosthetic leg. Terry has a 19 year old daughter and an 8 year old daughter. He recently went from having an active busy lifestyle and coaching his young daughter's softball team to being an above the knee amputee and struggling to find new ways to keep busy.
When anyone meets Terry, they like him! He is outgoing, quick with a joke, and there is almost nothing that he wouldn't do for anyone who crosses his path in life. Terry is kind hearted and giving. He has also spent many years coaching softball for both of his daughters. As a single dad, he spends much of his spare time taking his younger daughter and her friends to explore new places- parks, amusement parks, and to patronize local diners and ice cream shops. I know he would be so appreciative if people would help him get a new leg and restore so much of his quality of life and ability to volunteer.
**Terry's Story**
It was Sunday, October 6, 2013. Terry had just finished helping coach his daughter's softball game. His daughter had invited a friend over after the game. After the girls played for a short while, Terry was feeling pain in his right leg. He took his daughter's friend home and headed to the hospital. After a simple diagnosis of blood clots, things slowly but steadily went downhill. Several complications later, and with very little warning, Terry had to have his leg amputated on November 11. He recently learned that approximately $6,500 of the cost of a prosthetic leg will not be covered by his insurance. Any and all donations received will be forwarded by me directly to Terry and will go towards his leg and/or medical bills as the bills are piling up very quickly.
Terry amazes his friends with his strength and perseverance and I know that all of us - his friends and family - are so grateful for the generosity of those that wish to help us reach this goal, and for those of you who have already done so much with your thoughts and prayers.
