Con tristeza te compartimos la historia de Teddy y te pedimos apoyo para poder cubrir las radioterapias, inmunoterapias y medicinas oncológicas.
Luis Alberto Valderrama Battaglia, tambien conocido como Teddy, es un administrador en Perú, buen amigo, esposo amoroso y padre de 4. Con tan solo 69 años fué diagnosticado de cáncer pulmonar con metástasis cerebral donde el hígado y el riñón están comprometidos. Casi todos los doctores dijeron que ya no había salida ni tratamiento que sirva, hasta que conseguimos una cita con el Oncólogo Edgar Amorín en la Clinica Delgado quien nos dijo que es totalmente tratable. Esas noticias aliviaron mucho a Teddy y a su familia, especialmente a su esposa Elena Aranda quien sufre de Parkinson.
Después de haber hecho varias resonancias magnéticas, PET scan, biopsia, tomografía inmovilizada, entre otras pruebas. Teddy comenzó sus primeras 10 sesiones de radioterapia el 8 de Enero, 2021. El costo de las primeras 10 es de $12 704. Aun no sabemos cuánto sera el costo de las inmunoterapias y medicinas oncológicas pero en cuanto sepamos lo compartiremos por este medio. Nuestro objetivo es poder recaudar los fondos lo mas pronto posible para poder hacer las terapias en cuanto el doctor diga, sin esperar hasta que realmente podamos conseguir los fondos necesarios.
Nuestra familia ya a recaudado lo que a podido entre donaciones y venta de productos hechos en casa. Hoy te pedimos a ti que nos eches una mano compartiendo y/o donando. Tu granito de arena nos ayudaría a acercarnos más y más a nuestro objetivo.

It is with great sadness that we share Teddy's story with you. GoFundMe is our last resource, as it is hard enough for us every day knowing that our beloved Teddy has cancer. On behave of Teddy, we are asking you to help us cover his radiation therapies, immunotherapies and medications. Every donation, as big or small, will be tremendously appreciated and will help us get closer and closer to our goal.
Luis Alberto Valderrama Battaglia, also known as Teddy is a 69 years old manager in Peru, he’s a good friend, lovely husband and father of 4. Who got diagnosed with lung cancer with brain metastasis where the liver and kidney are compromised. Teddy went to several doctors and almost all of them said that was not treatable. Until we got an appointment with the Oncologist Edgar Amorín at the Delgado Clinic in Lima, Peru. Dr. Amorín told us that was totally treatable. This news greatly relieved Teddy and his family, especially his wife Elena Aranda who suffers from Parkinson.
After several MRI scans, biopsy, immobilized tomography, among other tests. Teddy began his first 10 radiation therapy sessions on January 8, 2021. The cost of these first 10 is $12 704. We do not yet know the cost of immunotherapies and medicines, but we will be keeping you updated as soon as we know. Our goal is to be able to raise the funds as soon as possible to be able to do the therapies as soon as the doctor says, without waiting until we can actually get the necessary funds.
Our family has already raised what it could from donations and the sale of homemade products, which is why now we are asking you for your support donating and/or sharing this campaign.
Every share will move us closer to reaching someone who may be moved enough by Teddy's story to offer a helping hand. Every dollar donated will get us closer and closer to saving Teddy's life.
