Kicking Cancer with Kay Kay

"Kicking Cancer with Kay Kay" is support for 24 year young Kandyce Kirksey and her battle with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. (NHL) is cancer of the lymph tissue. Lymph tissue is found in the lymph nodes, spleen, and other organs of the immune system. White blood cells called lymphocytes are found in lymph tissue. They help prevent infections.

Dear Family and Friends,

Hey! As most of you all may know I have recently been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer as of October 7th 2013. Due to this life threatening disease I have had to take an unpaid family leave from work and I am no longer able to work and my parents have had to miss plenty days of work as well. I never knew how expensive being severely sick was until I have currently been facing these abundance of financial roads. Many of these finances include: clothes because with having this disease my weight fluctuates a lot because of continual appetite shift caused by the chemotherapy, high priced anti-viral toiletries that I have to use because of my low blood count, constant co-pays that I have to pay every doctors visit which is no less than once a week, special food that I have to eat to enhance my nutrition, and an abundance of medicines and medical bills. This has put me and my parents in a financial bind. So I am asking for any donations with no specific amount. Anything will help. Please and thank you.
