With Love For Hunter

Hunter Ciaccio is a normal high school sophomore boy with a passion for school, friends, baseball and skateboarding. If you sit and talk with him you will know in an instant what an intelligent young man he is.  Hunter will tell you of his dreams to become an architec, his love for his mom, little sister and brother.  This week he was seriously injured in a freak skateboarding accident. Hunter suffered a skull fracture and what is called a coup contrecoup to his brain which means it was hit on the front of the brain and the back of the brain. He had a blood clot removed and now is in icu at a local hospital.  Hunter's family is hopeful he will be out of icu in a few days however he has many more weeks in the hospital and another brain surgery to put the portion of skull back still ahead of him. All of this will be in addition to to the countless hours of therapy and medications that will be required. While hunter does have insurance it has a high deductible and does not begin to touch the amount of time his mother will miss from work, the gas back and forth to the hospital or care that must be provided for his younger siblings while he is in the hospital. Any and all donations are appreciated as the family works to get hunter back to health.
