Team Dade | Dade Strickland

This page is to help raise funds to help with medical bills for pay Tara and DJ Strickland's little boy, Dade. Dade (due to arrive August 12!) was diagnosed with a birth defect known as Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). CDH happens when the diaphragm doesn't form completely and leaves an opening for organs to migrate around the abdominal and chest cavity. Any or all of the stomach, intestines, and liver can migrate into the chest cavity. This is a problem because these extra organs in the chest cavity crowd the heart and lungs, hampering their development. Babies have enough trouble with lung development even under normal circumstances, so CDH only complicates the situation that much more.
Dade's mom and dad have a long road ahead of surgeries and healing, and will need much along the way - including prayers, love and financial assistance. It's amazing how quickly gas money, and meals at the hospital alone can add up. Please help however you can so Dade's parents can focus on his care.
