John 'Tats' Harkins was such an incredible person, who was loved and inspired by SO many and taken from us far too early.
In his memory we would like to set up this fundraising page to raise funds for some very worthwhile causes as well as to aid his family with costs at this very difficult time.
The first charity is Alder Hey Children’s Charity. Those of you who were close to John, would have known how proud he was of his niece, Aoife. She has recently been discharged from Alder Hey hospital who took such good care of her. To honor his memory and make sure many nieces and nephews get the best care possible, we will be making a donation in John’s name.
The second will be a local cycling awareness charity to raise awareness and hopefully prevent such tragedies in the future.
Let's rally together one last time and ensure he has the send off that he deserves.
