My daughter, Talasia Brickhouse, has been given the opportunity of a lifetime. She has been invited to compete in the 2017 Down Under Track & Field Invitational in Australia. WOW! The competition is from July 2nd - July 10th in Australia and with a bonus trip from July 10th - July 13th in Hawaii.
Funds raised through GoFundMe will pay for airfare, hotel, passport and food while traveling. We have until June 2, 2017 to have the trip completely paid for or she will not be eligible to go.
At this invitational she will be introduced to athletes and coaches from around the world. There will be dozens of college coaches there to observe the athletes as well. We are hopeful to get scholarships for college through this opportunity.
