Support Our Community Centre
Donation protected
We need your help to support our community centre for vulnerable women and children in Izmir, Turkey, a city which harbours nearly 200,000 refugees many of whom are fleeing war-torn countries in the region.
This community centre established by Turkish and International Assistance for Integration (TIAFI) supports and empowers vulnerable women and their families in the city.
We provide free meals, language support, daycare, advice and offer work in our charity and textile shops, helping these vulnerable families get back on their feet. We also provide home visits and raise funds to cover medical costs, particularly for children.
Right now the community centre needs to raise funds to help keep the lights on. Can you help us keep our doors open?
A donation of just £10 will provide free meals for 30 people. A donation of £20 will provide a new school desk for the classroom. A donation of £50 will provide a displaced family with rent money for at least 15 days. A donation of £100 will help provide medical support for 1 child.
This is a safe and secure location for women and children of all nationalities to come and mingle, make friends, and receive much needed support.
All your donations will go directly to saving this vital community centre. To find out more about us see our website and follow us on Facebook.
Or if you are interested in purchasing one of our bags from the textile workshop - the funds all go to the community center - then you can email us at [email redacted].
