GOD IS?
Thank you for taking a few moments to visit this page. If you're unaware of who I am, my name is Jordan Marcotte and I'm a full-time missionary. A short background: I was introduced to full-time missions roughly six years ago when I walked into the doors of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO. From there, after I completed a six month internship, I dove right into joining staff and serving as what they call an, 'Intercessory Missionary'. Who knew that my heart would begin to explore the ideas of changing the world? Who knew that the Lord had more purpose for me than I had for myself?! As time went by, I was led to a new YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base that launched in Kansas City, also. I heard about a program that's so popular throughout the YWAM bases of the Earth called a DTS (Discipleship Training School). It wasn't long before I found myself filling out the application and fully enrolled. Here's where this new journey began and why I'm sharing with you right now. Hang tight!
Without giving you every detail, let me hit the highlights about this program and mission to Inda.
Within this program, my heart has reached new heights with and in God that I had been missing for some time. He has renewed my vision and has opened my eyes greatly to my purpose on this Earth that goes well beyond my own ability; which is good because it produces dependency on Him alone. My testimony has never felt so alive and powerful, able to be used by the Lord to encourage people everywhere. Whether you would like to call it the body of Christ, community or the family of God, the Lord has been using people to strengthen me and teach so much about vulnerability, trust and love. One last bit - my perspective on worship leading is becoming so broadened and more defined at the same time. I could easily write book about the past two months here at YWAM-KC, but let me share with you what you've really been waiting for.
THE INDIA MISSION
Here me, friends - like I stated above, India has over 300million faces of god... do you know what that does to a people? It confuses them, thrusts them into deception and sends a whole nation on their way to eternal separation from the ONE TRUE GOD. How will they know if no one ever tells them who Jesus is? For ten weeks, beginning January 1, myself and 80 plus people will be flying into India with one mission in mind:
- TO KNOW GOD AND MAKE HIM KNOWN.
As a messenger of hope and healing with a directive to leading people to the Father's heart, I know that separate from a team of prayer and financial supporters, it won't be what it should. Can you imagine witnessing over 100,000 souls won for Jesus and brought into His glorious Kingdom? I CAN - and that's why I'm asking YOU to join my team TODAY. Would you prayerfully consider giving toward THE INDIA MISSION? Take part in sending the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a people who have never heard it before!
