Greetings Family, Friends & Colleagues,
I am solicitating a request for prayers and monetary support. My church is in need of an entirely new heating system and base boards/radiators.
My husband, Bishop Anthony Spears and I were blessed to purchase a church and parsonage in September 2006. We travel 86 miles one way every Sunday to open the church doors at 900 Peachblossom Avenue, Cambridge, MD, 21613. The name of our church is “The Apostolic Movement Church in Jesus Christ (TAMCIJC)”. We are a young and growing ministry on Maryland’s Eastern Shore in Dorchester County.
In January 2014 our parsonage/house right next door to the church sustained a lot of damage and over 5 feet of water in the basement as result of busted water pipes during the deep freeze. Thank God for Nationwide Insurance, the parsonage has been restored. However, last month, February 2015 the church boiler stopped working...it died, and this caused several radiators and some pipes to bust.
Can you help us reach the financial goal to purchase and install a new heating system for the church? As a Pastor’s wife, one thing I learned very quickly; it really-really cost to run and keep doors open to a church. For those of you who know me, I will shop around for the best cost and the best service. It’s funny how contractors quote ridiculous prices because it is a church. We have received a few estimates, and will meet with a few more contractors. The new heating system requires purchasing a new boiler, new base boards/radiators, and replace old pipes.
I am very hopeful that you’re giving will help us purchase and install the new heating system over the
summer-2015.
