Sweet Little Trudy Needs Your Help

We at The Pit Stops Here humbly ask for your help to raise the funds to cover knee surgery for Trudy. We are not sure how she damaged it, but about a month or so ago our sweet little Trudy came up lame on her left rear leg.

We did keep her confined for about a month to see if it would mend, but alas the vet confirmed she has a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament and it needs repair.

Trudy has had a tough go of it these past few months of her life. Before we rescued Trudy, her owner died and no one knew poor Trudy was stuck in the house with no food for over ten days, and now this sweet little girl is in pain with her injured knee.

In rescue we know only too well that she is virtually unadoptable without the surgery complete, as most people do not want to take on a dog that has a pending medical expense. The Pit Stops Here is a non-profit Pit Bull rescue and we are humbly asking for your help in raising the funds to pay for this $2880 surgery, post operative therapy, and any additional costs. 

With your support in raising the funds to cover her sugery, you also help us get on with the important business of finding her forever home; Full of love and adventure so she can leave her sad past behind her. 

If we are truly blessed and raise more than enough money through our Pledge drive for Trudy, please know the extra will be used for dog food, winter coats for the dogs, bully sticks as a treat for Christmas, and wood chip bales for fresh ground cover during the “muddy months” for the dogs.
