Single Mom of 4 w/ Cervical Cancer

Hi, my name is Kristi Canter and my sister is Susan Canter.  She's in the red shirt in the photo above. My sister is a single mother to four children and has struggled most of her life. Her oldest son committed suicide in 2011 and since then, our family has really stuck together to get through the grieving process. We were hit with another test earlier this year when Susie was rushed to the hospital for excessive bleeding after she passed out. It turns out that she had blood clots so the doctors continued to run tests on her until they found out that she had stage 2 going into stage 3 cervical cancer. We thanked God for the blood clots because they pushed further testing. So, in finding out, Susie has started chemo, radiation and has had one surgery to remove the blood clots. She's exhausted daily, can barely keep food down and whenever she has a little bit of energy, she goes to the gas station to work a few hours to pay the bills. The entire journey has been hard on the family, especially her 15 year old daughter and 13 year old son who still live at home with her. She worked at a gas station and she had no benefits and she's been rejected four times for state aid. Since then, our family has pulled together to pay for whatever she needs to pull through this rough season in her life but it's beginning to really put a strain on us financially. Currently, she needs her rent covered and various other bills. As the Lord leads you to give, please give and please pray for us as we take steps towards her recovery.
