Robyn has spent her life dedicated to helping others. She spent many years working at the Domestic Abuse and Rape Crisis Center and The Norwescap Early Headstart to aid women and children living in poverty, battling diseases, and living tragic circumstances.
When her mother-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer, she provided 24 hour care for her - all while caring for 3 young children ( ages 3,5,and 7)-while her husband worked. She has been married for 35 years. Her husband and son work on oil rigs and are hundreds and hundreds of miles away most of the time. Her daughter has recently gotten married and moved 1,500 miles away, to be with her husband and his career. Robyn has spent recent years working at a Real Estate company, but still continued her natural calling at counseling others. The company just underwent new ownership, and the new owners have decided that her position is no longer needed. Just like that, her job was gone.
The same week she went in for a checkup with her gynecologist and was diagnosed with 2nd stage breast cancer that had also spread to her lymph node. This will now require chemo and radiation as treatment. To say the very least, the upcoming medical expenses are BEYOND Stressful.
Her husband has now requested as much work as possible in order to make more money, which leaves her home alone. He is devastated to have no choice other than leaving her alone in order to provide as much financial support as possible.
Her daughter will be flying back and forth to help care for her as much as possible when her treatments start, but the flights are going to be very costly, and financially impossible without financial help.
Please help me, Bethany Fazalare, a friend whom Robyn took under her wings during the most difficult time of my life, to help this AMAZING woman with a challenge that is hard enough to even think about, let alone have to live.
