Hello Everyone,
I am Monica Larrabee and I am managing this GoFund Me account for the McMeekan family.
After a routine eye exam Tom was diagnosed with a brain tumor on September 23. Tom recently underwent extensive brain surgery on October 5. Tom was in surgery for 10 hours in which they were able to remove a large portion of his brain tumor. Tom is currently waiting for results to determine if the tumor is cancerous or not. We do know that Tom will need to travel for additional follow up treatments and radiation that will be out-of-state either in Seattle or Los Angeles for up to 6 to 8 weeks.
As many of you already know Tom has three beautiful children and a wife whom he is the sole provider for. He will be unable to work for a long period time and will be accruing a large amount of hospital bills while also trying to support his entire family. His wife Natalie is also unable to work as she is taking care of Tom and must be by his side to monitor him during the day and night.Tom is doing well however he has a long ways to go in his recovery and future radiation treatments. Tom's surgery and treatments have already exceeded the maximum out of pocket for his health insurance not including the amount of money it will cost for him to travel to receive radiation for 6 to 8 weeks. With a family of five and both parents not working it's crucial that we help support our friends during this difficult time.

Natalie and Tom have said how much it means to them for everyone that has helped them this far. I will continue providing updates when I receive them and we will all pray that the tumor is benign and that Tom can begin to recover as quickly as possible.
