Support The Art of Storytelling and Social Change

Sixteen years later, Kids Share Workshops (KSW) is gearing up for its most significant outreach program. Starting in the state of Florida and ending the journey internationally, we will be documenting the impact KSW will have on 6-8 communities, reaching 480 children and community members, resulting in a cross-cultural published book and documentary film.

In addition to the traditional book-building workshop, the Kids Share journey will be professionally filmed for a new featured documentary, which we will work hard to become a TV reality series.

Why is the Kids Share program important? With a team of dedicated volunteers and staff, we are passionate about giving global youth a voice in an ever-changing world through a carefully crafted Story-Bridge Curriculum. Many youth worldwide, no matter their social and economic circumstances, are worried about their future, locally, statewide, and globally. This concern has been the case for generations. Still, we are seeing our world accelerate into environmental and technological advances, which can bring significant positive changes or major unrest and trauma for all of us, no matter where we live.

Listen to the wisdom of youth whose lives are not yet clouded by adulthood stressors and who see issues negatively impacting their family, friends, and community. Be instrumental in giving future generations a voice with their insightful and impactful solutions for our world leaders to consider.

Kids Share is proud to team up with local and international nonprofits, who will manage the initial funding and distribute it to the Kids Share Workshops team in an organized and responsible way. Your donation to this GoFundMe campaign will be held in escrow until we reach our goal. Your donation will be tax-exempt and go far because we have a strong volunteer and contracted team working together to ensure a transparent and positive outcome for our 2024-2025 Kids Share Workshops!

Please help us reach our funding goal of $125k! The theme of the 2024-2025 workshops will be "Our Urgent Message From The Future." We will touch on environmental concerns, food insecurity, safety, and education. Students will be directed to share their candid problem-solving storytelling through a 'Story-Bridge Curriculum,' carefully custom-created by the Kids Share Workshops' professional team.

How Your Donations Will Make a Difference

Since 2008, Kids Share Workshops has relied on volunteer support and some grant funding from umbrella nonprofit organizations. Although KSW is not a registered nonprofit, we offer free workshops to qualified underserved schools worldwide, primarily as an afterschool program in the United States and during school hours in some of the hardest-to-reach countries in great need of literacy and art outreach programs.

Your monetary donation will help our volunteer team cover any of the following: art and writing supplies, daily meals and beverages, translator fees, music celebration party, filmmaking and photography expenses, book publishing design and production, and travel and accommodation support for volunteers when needed.

All workshop supplies are purchased in-country and stay with the community.

All donations are held in escrow, distributed, and managed through a registered umbrella nonprofit. We do offer tax exemption donations through our partner umbrella organization.
