New Mom's Battle Against Cancer

Hello! Meet my sister, Stephanie: a beautiful daughter to my parents, Susan & Joe; a strong, big sister to my brother Joey and me; a beloved wife to her husband, Doug; and most recently a mother to a precious baby boy, Jack Thomas. Stephanie, at the young age of 28, was recently informed she has an aggressive and rare form of cancer called Leiomyosarcoma. There is no cure and the cancer is inoperable. Stephanie has begun chemotherapy to treat the cancer and reduce the tumor size. The plan is to continue chemotherapy until perhaps a cure is found. We are doing our best to keep spirits high. Faith, however, doesn't help pay the bills of both the hospital and parenthood expenses. Stephanie is a gradeschool teacher here in Missouri, but will likely not be able to return with a weakened immune system. Doug is working hard, but taking care of his wife and baby whilst still getting to work five days a week is a lot to ask of anyone.
This is where you get a chance to help! I am setting up this charity for my sister in hopes of helping alleviate some of the financial burdens that are soon to come. We are not expecting grand donations. As a school teacher, Stephanie would tell her kids that even the smallest act of kindness can have the most profound effect.
