Support for the Gordons

This page has been set up for the benefit of the Gordon family.  In May of this year, Richard and Kristen learned that their son, Jacob has a tumor located on the pineal gland of his brain.  Results of the scans indicated that the tumor is growing, and at this time, the team of doctors and specialists feel the best course of action is chemotherapy and likely radiation treatment to follow.

Jacob is about to begin his fifth round of treatment at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT and has proven to be a fighter at such a young age.  He just recently had another MRI performed to determine if the treatment thus far has been successful at shrinking the tumor.  While this was not the case, the tumor has stopped growing in size, and we remain hopeful the results will improve as he completes the remaining sessions.

As we all know too well, the emotional and financial burden placed on a family going through such struggles is extremely challenging.  The Gordons are no exception, and have experienced difficulty keeping up with the fees associated with treatments, hospital visits, and doctors, as well as travel expenses.  We love them all, and want to support them however we can so the priority can shift from concern of finances, to getting Jacob well.  It is our hope and prayer that you can do the same.
