Sunset Rockets Blast off to Camp KEEP!

Sunset Middle School is located in rural, southeastern Kern County and serves some of the most underprivileged, at-risk youth in our community. At one time, Sunset was able to send every student to Camp KEEP (Kern Environmental Education Program), a week-long Science camp, where they learned respect for all life, built their vocabulary, and laid a foundation for scientific literacy. Due to budget cuts, they have been able to send fewer kids each year and, unfortunately, due to economic hardship and in some cases, domestic instability, those most in need of this experience are those who are least able to raise the funds to go. Please help Going Places fund 10 full scholarships for Sunset Rockets to go to Camp KEEP and to provide any necessary items they may be lacking in order to attend.
