Steen Kanter Central Park Bench

Our bet is that you are here because Steen Kanter kicked your butt, inspired you and ultimately, made you a better person. Or at minimum, he made you better at what you do. He loved nothing more than investing in the right people and taking them 'where they didn't know they could go'.
Sadly, we all lost a family member, father, grandfather, husband, friend, co-worker, mentor and 'proud purchaser of trains' last month. Steen was an influential person in many of our lives, privately and professionally, and his impact will continue to support the people we interact with throughout our lives.
For a man who was most comfortable making us uncomfortable (and better for it), we thought a fitting memorial would be to sponsor a park bench in Central Park in New York City. A place where we can go to sit and reflect on our experiences with him, and channel some tough love when we need it.
Steen is known for "caring so much" that he "didn't care at all". For those of you who do care, greatly, for the time you were fortunate enough to spend with him, please donate to memorialize a permanent "dentist chair" in the heart of a city that Steen loved.
In the 'memorials' section, please feel free to leave a remembrance, or your favorite 'Steenism'. We are still dreaming up an inscription for the park bench that will be worthy of Steen, and of course, would make him smile. Any memories or ideas are welcome.
A park bench dedication ceremony will follow in the near future. With a very nice bottle of Bordeaux.
