Stand For Southwest Virginia
Donation protected
Help us prevent the creation of a fracked gas Pipeline Alley through West Virginia and Virginia.
Funds raised through this campaign will create a public awareness program along the proposed route of Mountain Valley Pipeline. We will install a six-month, inter-county pipeline awareness project using billboards running from Franklin to Giles (with an estimated cost of $3500 per county). Utilizing graphic images of what a 500-foot wide pipeline scar would look like, we will demonstrate the threat to our area's scenic beauty, water, recreation jobs, property rights, and public safety.
Join our effort and you will have a chance to win one of three prizes that celebrate the scenic beauty and rural quality of life in these mountains we stand to protect.
First Prize
QUIET RETREAT - Two-night stay at Bear Foot Cabin at Walker Creek , Pembroke (for up to 4 people, March 1-April 30, 2017). Off-peak or Winter Season ($410 Value).
Second Prize
SUMMER FUN - One week at Dori-Del Hill’s Advantage Ranch Horse Camp for a young person aged 6 to 18. ($400 Value).
