Special trip for a grieving family

Friends of ours, Shannon and Greg Bernhardt, suffered a terrible tragedy last December. Their precious 9 year old son Riley passed away suddenly in a tragic accident. They have faced this devastating loss with incredible courage and have been so very strong for their other children, Hailey (18), Avery (8), and Peyton (6). It has been heartbreaking watching our friends and their children endure the past eight months. It has been their strong faith in God and their love for each other that has been their saving grace.

Shannon mentioned to another friend of hers that she and Greg would like to take their children on a special trip this December since it will be a difficult time of year for them all. Her friend decided that she would like to raise funds to help send the Bernhardts to Disney. We loved this wonderful idea and decided to join in this fundraising effort.
