For those of you who don't know Melanie, they are an amazing daughter who has been taking care of their mother (Lisa) since she was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Their mom's prognosis has suddenly taken a turn for the worse, and they didn't have a chance to transfer ownership of a house to Melanie's name. This means that ownership of the house will be transferred to their mom's husband, who has explicitly stated that he will kick Melanie out of the house they've lived in and paid rent on for many years. It's the house they grew up in.

On Melanie's behalf, I'm raising some money so that they can either speak to a probate lawyer or find a place to live. 

They are also going to have some funeral expenses coming up that they'll need to pay for, so anything you can give will be helpful. And if you can't give, prayers or positive thoughts are always appreciated. They will appreciate the support.
