Walk Across Spain To End Cancer

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and read more about my mission.  

So many families are impacted with painful experiences of living with a loved one battling cancer.  I know how hard this can be because my grandmother was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma when I was  7 yrs old.  In part due to the generosity of Contra Costa Oncology, my grandmother is with me today.

I’m embarking on this mission to help others to stay focused on the treatment and not the cost.  There are so many families struggling to pay for treatments or behind on payments while trying to beat this illness.   I'm only 15 yrs old but find it hard to think that there are people out there who must face decisions about what medications or treatments they will accept based on what they can afford.  

 I would like to use this platform to reach out to as many people as I can in hopes of bringing awareness to my mission.   I would like to raise money for cancer patients that have financial need and currently in payment plans at Contra Costa Oncology.  I will be crossing the Camino Santiago trail, which is a 500 mile trek that starts in Southern France and ends in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.   I'm training  so that I can embark on this journey in the Summer of 2018.  I plan to update this page with progress during training and while on the trail.

Help by joining me In opening a dialogue with those you know about cancer patients and making treatments accessible to all.  All money raised will go directly to help pay for outstanding balances  for patients at Conta Costa Oncology.
