Solo ~ I've Got a Good Feeling...

Many of you saw the many pleas from the Fort Worth Shelter for this poor husky boy who had been hit by a car.   Sometimes you have to let your heart lead and even though we are closed to intake we could not let his boy loose his life!  Fifteen minutes before he was to be euthanized, we were able to tag him and save his life.  A volunteer rushed to his rescue and thanks to her, Solo is part of the TXHR Family.  Solo is now at our vets and undergoing surgery today!!!  Both of his hind legs are broken along with his pelvis.  Solo will need at least two surgeries.  One to place an external fixator in his left leg and pins/wires for his right leg.  Then once his legs have healed he will need surgery on his pelvis.  He has a 50/50 chance to save the left leg.

Even though he must have been in horrible, excruciating pain, Solo has remained incredibly sweet and loving.  Even climbing from one seat to another during his Freedom Ride to love on our rescuers young son.

We are thrilled that we could save Solo but now we need your help with his medical costs.  His surgeries alone will be approximately $4200 then his after-care and physical therapy will bring his vetting to at least $5000.  We are so grateful to you our supporters who help us #SaveMoreHuskies like #Solo.  We appreciate your consideration in donating to Solo.  Every dollar counts!!
