A Service Dog for sweet Eliza

Donation protected
A service dog for safety and social companionship would make such a significant change in Eliza's and our family's lives. Eliza has autism. She was diagnosed at age 2 1/2 and is now 9 1/2. She is non-verbal and has to be supervised 24/7. She can destroy things with no understanding, often from anxiety of world that to her is chaotic and impossible to comprehend.  We fear for Eliza's safety as she easily wanders, has no ability to discern danger, and is non-verbal, not always responding to her name, She attends a special school necc.org. Her teachers and therapists are wonderful but change is slow. Eliza is making progress at about the pace of 3-4 months of typical child development in about a year. But many things Eliza will never get. Eliza is a beautiful little girl with a persona that lights up a room and every heart who meets her. It's our hope our sweet Eliza be as protected as we can provide for her with the costly but incredibly priceless and life-giving ability that a service dog is for our most needy and vulnerable in our society.  We have two other children and my husband is a local pastor. Life is moving fast, so I don't want to put off any longer pursuing a service dog that would be life-changing for Eliza and us. I feel so grateful to have this chance to ask for your help to make this happen. Thank you for hearing our story.
