Seeking Aid For Transgender Immigrant To America
My girlfriend will be needing these funds to afford a flight to the United States and to afford fees for her to get her Green Card so she can become a permanent resident of this country.
She needs these funds as soon as possible. She is running out of time and money, living in an abusive household, is severely mistreated by her family. As a transgendered female in Cairo, Egypt which is listed under travel advisory for discrimination against people who are LGBTQ+ she is facing direct discrimination in public as well. There is no refuge for her indoors or outdoors.
She is regularly persecuted for appearing, acting or sounding queer, and she is living in a home with a leaking ceiling that is slowly developing black mold and the walls of the home are collapsing. Her Father was homophobic when he was alive and used to degrade and demean her for not living up to the image he wanted her to live up to. Her Brother and Mother in her immediate family are currently verbally, psychologically and financially abusive. Her relatives whom are more than financially capable have shunned her or will not aid her in any way as if they expect her to die there. Her extended relatives have called her homophobic slurs at her Father's funeral and she certainly has no support from her immediate family members. Her Mother steals her money and she cannot get a job due to discriminatory treatment by hiring managers and over the phone.
People in the street stare at her for extended periods of time and treat her as if she in an anomaly in a way that is incredibly disconcerting or demeaning, even when she attempts to dress or act cisgendered. She faces consistent harassment from people in the mall, in stores, and even taxi drivers will question or disturb her peace about her gender, sexuality or religion. People will often attempt to make her second guess herself, and interfere in very strange things regarding her personal business, race, religion and life. The degree to which others impose upon her causes her extreme distress and strife in her day to day existence, not to mention that she already is stricken with poverty.
Living in the country for most of her life, she's found difficulty being able to safely visit certain districts or markets due to discriminatory comments or treatment from the general public. She's been mocked, sexualized, and ridiculed by multiple groups of people to the point where she doesn't even go to certain places for basic needs due to the extreme amount of hostility directed toward her for minor differences. She's even dressed in all black and covered her entire body and people would stare even harder and treat her like a sex worker.
We are both deeply spiritual individuals whom have been seeking to make our bond stronger for several years now. We have only known each other through online and as things have progressed we've decided that we would finally like to tie the knot. It would mean absolutely everything to her and I to not only meet in person but to stay with one another moving forward on our spiritual journey into marriage. She would like to start a new life in America, and to leave behind a very broken past filled with pain, struggle and trial to begin a journey of growth, recovery and healing.
