The Screw You Harvey Fund for Eva

Please join the effort in giving Hurricane Harvey a big screw you for the damage caused to the precious home and car of our dear friend Eva.  With about 5 feet of water inside, little was spared from the first floor and even with flood insurance on the house, the cost of all these items will not be covered.  100% of the donated funds will be given to Eva to put towards travel and salsa dancing... just kidding!  They will of course go towards replacing items that will not be covered by insurance money.  Any help in paving the road to recovery and helping bridge this gap would be greatly appreciated!  Also, a big, heartfelt thank you from Eva & her daughter, Claudia, to everyone that has already contributed their time and resources in the days after the flood.  

About me:  I'm Merianne, a friend of Eva's by way of our daughters being best friends in high school.  I live in a nearby north Houston neighborhood and have known the Sokolowski women for well over a decade.  I've shared many memories and margaritas with them over the years and think of Claudia as another daughter.  Many people are looking for ways to aid flood victims so I thought this would be a nice way to help & would love to see as many people as possible join the cause - thank you!
