Help build a new Greenhouse
Tax deductible
Edgartown has been a leader in the Garden to School movement on Martha's Vineyard that has inspired our whole island. In early March this year, a huge Northeastern storm wreaked havoc on the island, causing major flooding, downing trees, and completely destroying the beloved greenhouse that was a fundamental part of the garden learning program.
The greenhouse was utilized heavily throughout the year. Students grew micro greens during the colder months, planted starts there to get a jump on the growing season, and grew tomato plants that they then sold to raise money that helped to fund their Garden to School program.
The children of Edgartown need your help! Please donate and share with your friends and help us reach our goal. Your donation will make it possible for the Edgartown Parent Teachers Association to replace the greenhouse and restore this vital part of the Garden to School curriculum. Donations made through this gofundme campaign are 501(c)3 tax deductible.
