We are fighting for the life of my sister Valya (31 years old, VALYA ILIEVA POPOVA), a mother of a lovely child called Svilen (2 y 4 m). Everything started a year after his birth. She constantly felt weak and tired and we all thought that it was typical for mothers with little kids. Spots appeared on the skin all over her body accompanied by intolerable itching. She started coughing and no antibiotics could affect it.
After 6 months of wandering from consulting room to consulting room, a vast number of tests and biopsies, finally on 3 July 2013 she was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma (a cancer originating from white blood cells called lymphocytes).
She was immediately prescribed chemotherapy at the oncology clinic in Sofia, Bulgaria. After the completion of the first course of treatment the result wasn’t positive and after a short break a second course was prescribed and started. Unfortunately on her 31st birthday (9 May 2014), we found out that the cancer cells are alive and hadn’t been affected by the intensive chemotherapy. Her condition didn’t improve but on contrary, it became worse.
After these two unsuccessful attempts for medical treatment in Bulgaria, we turned for help to a Medical Center in Turkey. There, apart from God’s help will need your help, friends.

Late lastnight after we came back from Turkey (Anadlu Medical Center) with confirmed diagnosis by Prof. Zafer Gulbas (Professor in Hematology) Lymphoma, which has spread. By his recommendation it is necessary urgently to start therapy and subsequent transplantation of stem cells.
