The Save McLovin Fund

Greetings!!!

McLovin has grown skinny, and has lost over 6 pounds through this ordeal over the last four months. Also, because of his lack of tongue, he is now pulling his hair out with his teeth by the clumps, and I am having to remove them from the roof of his mouth 3-5 times a day. He is frustrated because he cannot groom himself with his tongue, so to keep him from ending up looking like a Sphinx cat everywhere but his head, he has been placed back into a Thunder Vest.

He is getting one more feeding tube placement today, and I need a little bit of help paying for it and any medical pussplies that come along with it.

This is the last feeding tube that we will be placing on McLovin. He doesn't try to eat or drink on his own anymore, and nature would have already taken its course, so I am effectively keeping my cat alive. I am not ready to let him go yet, and he is not ready to go.

They say animals have a way of letting you know when it's time to take them to the vet, and he let me know last night that tomorrow was surgery time, not permanent-sleepy time. So please donate if you can, and if not, please pass this along. I want to give my little guy a little bit more time.

I am an unemployed combat veteran receiving peanuts from Uncle Sam, and cannot readily come up with the money that is needed to pay for his newest surgery. I love my cat to death even though he pees outside of the litter box sometimes just to laugh at me. I am sad. He is sad.


It is extremely important to me that I improve upon my cat's quality of life, so that he can continue to play hide and go seek with in me in Bloomingdale's shopping bags. ▼▼▼
