My brother, Adam,
In the last 6 months Adam has had the worst luck imaginable. He was admitted into UofM for a ruptured appendix, which later spiraled into a mass infection that spread to multiple organs. After approximately 3 1/2 months into his healing process he returned home in which he was welcomed with a citation from the city to remove a tree from his yard. With doctor bills and medical bills piling up, not to mention being off work for a few months, he has been low on funds. He made the executive decision to try to remove the tree himself at a slow pace. On 4th of July, he went up ladder to begin dismantling this tree. Somehow he lost his footing and he fell to ground, hitting the chainlink fence on the way down. He shattered his wrist, and they found internal bleeding in his stomach, which lead to an emergency medical procedure and removal of a part of his colon. He theoretically has been off work for 5 months, and he is not allowed back until almost September. Not to mention going to physical therapy 4-5 a week is eating a lot of gas money, and other funds.
Someone suggested that I go on here and see if there were some angels that could help out. Those of you who know Adam, know he has a hard time asking for help. Well, here it goes. Since the medical bills have piled up, and he hasn't been to work, his house is in pre-foreclosure. To prevent the losing of his home that he worked so hard to acquire, he needs to come up with $10,000 by the 15th of this month. He has kind of lost hope that this could happen but I am trying every option to save his home for him, and his 3 dogs. I understand money is tight for a lot of people, so if you could only donate $5 that helps. Even if you cannot donate $5, words of encouragement, and prayers will be accepted as well.
